ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH In 1928 builder R. W. Wellstead commenced the erection of a timber building for the Roman Catholics. This was used for both worship and social affairs for many years and it was not until the 21st October 1976 that this denomination built the St John Mary Vianney Church on the south-western side of the town
